Fans of cinematic post-rock\/metal can indulge themselves with the Italian formation threestopstotheocean. In September of 2020 this dark instrumental band released the great album Del Fuoco. Don't expect standard music from these gentlemen! This raw record contains quite a few influences from psychedelic rock, and they also effortlessly combine this with sludge<\/a>. Actually there is nothing standard about this record and with that this album competes for the originality prize. The keyboardist continues to conjure up great contrasts from his keyboard, while the guitarists perform a dueling dance, as they are whipped up by the thumping bass and pounding drums. The parallels with bands like Cult Of Luna, Neurosis and Isis are not uncommon, but that might be a disservice to this band, because the whole thing offers so much more.<\/p>\n
