Das zweite Full-Length-Album von Carved Into The Sun heißt The Earth Fell Away und zeigt einmal mehr, wozu Multiinstrumentalist Eric Reifinger fähig ist. Außerdem ließ er dieses Mal das Mastering von keinem Geringeren als Magnus Lindberg (u.a. Russian Circles, PG.Lost, Cult Of Luna, etc.) übernehmen. Für die Mischung sorgte wiederum Beau Burchell.
