Mantis has been influenced by bands like Caspian and And So I Watch You From Afar, but is definitely not a clone of it. This band absolutely does not allow its music to be captured in one genre. They combine metal with post-rock, stoner and danceable alt-rock, complemented with some jazzy influences and fine harmonies. With this mix of styles they are one of the big surprises at Dunk! Fest 2019. Reason enough for Dunk! Records to include them on their label.
