With Vortex, Toundra breaks with the tradition of giving each album a Roman number, although the title of this fifth album still starts with the letter "V". Musically the band does not break with the line we saw on the previous albums. They are all great post rock tracks that are not infrequently built up to post metal and contain a lot of influence from progressive rock. Vortex actually has two faces. Where the first half mainly consists of the heavier songs, the second half of the album clearly slows down a bit and there is more room for nuances. Above all, the style of these Madrid people remains clearly recognizable.
