Whale Fall – It Will Become Itself

With just a handful of ideas, Whale Fall went into the rehearsal room, only intending to try out those basic ideas. After that night, all band members agreed that this had been a worthwhile practice session. As usual, a recording ran with it for reference for further compositions and arrangements. It wasn't until months later when the almost forgotten recordings were rediscovered and the band realized what a memorable rehearsal session it had been and that it really didn't take much more to release this as a full length album. Just a few small musical additions were enough. The title of this album therefore describes exactly the process by which this album came about.
