Playgrounded – The Death Of Death

Playgrounded is a Greek progressive metal band that mainly operates from the Netherlands. Three of the five band members even graduated from Dutch conservatories. The album The Death of Death therefore contains music that comes from mastery. The band pays a lot of attention to composing the songs, and that produces recognizable and memorable music and not the sum of experiments. Every detail has been carefully planned and worked out in advance, with the ultimate goal of creating a total sum of the parts that, despite all the separate parts, still leads to a coherent whole. In other words, it is a composition through decomposition.
