Sagor Som Leder Mot Slutet is a Swedish instrumental post-rock/post-metal band that creates compelling, narrative soundscapes balancing heaviness and vulnerability. The band has been independent since 2014 and has released four critically acclaimed studio albums—I, II, III, and IV—and composed the award-winning soundtrack for the film Iris. Their dynamic, atmospheric performances earned them recognition at festivals such as VIVID Post Rock Festival and Dunk! Festival, establishing them as one of Scandinavia's most captivating voices in modern post-rock.
The debut album "I", released with a unique forest-like soundscape, was named one of the best albums of 2016 by Post Rock Essentials. It was a complete DIY project by the original members, from composition to mastering. Nominated as "Best Newcomer" and "Best Album", it culminated in aesthetic and visual live shows such as VIVID Post Rock Festival and was later recognized as one of the post-rock and post-metal cult classics of the decade.
